Strange Reaction
As we were signing in to the campground last night a fellow camper asked where we were from. I told them we were fulltimers and had no base home and the Montana was it. The guy got plain hostile, saying there is no way you don't have a home and went grumbling off making ugly comments. Now this wasn't a young individual but he obviously doesn't know what a fulltimer is.
We live where we park it.

Sounded like a case of pure jealousy.

I can barely contain myself until I am able to tell someone that, no matter what their reaction.

Jim its very simple, if you haven't been there and done that some will never understand the Freedom in full timing. People like that need to get a grip. Its still a free country so for and until it changes a person has the right to live his or her on life. GBY...

I feel sorry for him. He must be a lot of fun to live with.

Did you invite him over to your campfire?

I remember meeting my first full-timers. It was at a scenic overlook near the Black Hills, almost 40 years ago. When he explained their lifestyle to me, I was stunned. My reaction was so different from this old grump, possibly because I never thought I would ever retire, let alone full-time.
Maybe this fellow just has too much "stuff" to think about full-timing. I know I do. But I can't imagine getting huffy about it!

Certainly was an odd reaction considering he makes his money off of a LOT of full-timers!
