Just for an FYI, Keystone started using one piece blown tanks around mid year 2015 for there 2016 models because of all the 2 piece tanks splitting. saw the change at the Factory during the tour at the Fall Rally.

Well that's good for new Keystone owners, and the horse is already out of the barn. to late for all the thousands of older models.

Any tanks that fail for them they will still receive the original OEM replacement for that year model. Keystone should have invested in a upgrade retrofit supports, which some owners have already fabricated for their units along with flexible vent connectors which Richfaa mentioned, my reasoning is when the tank has anything in it and when you travel will cause the tank to flex and bounce causing stress on the ridged pipes and tank top and top seam which is where most of the failures have happened. I guess that were suppose to travel with our tanks empty so if you are a dry camper or on BLM land you better empty your tanks at your earliest convenience because you will be playing Russian roulette with your holding tanks.

I used no hub rubber couplings on galley grey tank after I dropped tank and repaired it. Getting ready to replace shower and black tank valves and will be using a no hub on the output of each valve to connect to the exiting pipe work.

If Keystone was not aware of a problem with their holding tanks why did they make this "change"?

We do travel with our tanks empty accept for a gallon or two in each tank to keep them wet. You do not have to be in travel for the tank t o separate all of our tanks separated while on our Florida lot or in our driveway simply from being to full and NOT overfilled.

Rubber no hub coupling on galley grey tank inlet and outlet for me. Parts were from lowes. My issue was top seam split and small split on bottom. Both repaired by me with plasti-mend kit and still hanging in.

How do you access the top pipes of the tanks, i.e. The inlet, vent?
