I-29 is open

For those of you that are coming down I-80 West and take I-880 to I-29 South to Council Bluffs, IA and continue through CB South towards Kansas City to get to IA/NE- 2 to Nebraska City, I-29 north of Council Bluffs is now open to traffic heading North and South. It is restricted travel to one lane each direction but it is open.
My advise would be to continue on I-80 West until you come to the intersection of I-80 and I-29 on the edge of Council Bluffs and then take I-29 South from there and not take I-880 West.

Haven't heard of any problems on either one, Woody! Check with or key in IADOT to see if they have any posting about either one. If you are coming from the South you will be taking the IA-2 West exit which turns into NE-2 after crossing the Missouri River. Victorian Acres is about a mile or less after crossing the Missouri on your right side. See you soon! Save travels coming in!
