Decals Peeling
I have a 2005 3400RL. The decals are peeling off. They started by shrinking quite dramatically. Now they are curling up. Anyone else having a problem? Is there any way to stop it from happening to the decals that haven't yet started to curl and peel?

I had a problem with our front decal doing the same. Last fall at the National Rally in Goshen, In. I had them take a look at the front cap. When I had my appointment for some work on our slide at the service centre, they replaced the decal on the cap.

If you look around, this seems to be an industry wide issue not just Keystone. Some say do not wax some say they've waxed for years with no problem ... for me, no conclusive results either way. I was fortunate enough to get a full replacement set from Team Montana a little over a year out of warranty, but had to supply the labor from my own pocket. Mine too had shrunk up about 3/4" and started to peel. I will point out that my 2000 2850 Montana's decals were like new when I traded it in 05 ... something's definitely changed.

For what it is worth. Our 3400 passed the 1 year mark last week. Our Decals are as good as the day we purchased the camper. We do not wax..we only wash with a good car wash solution....in other words we do nothing to protect the decals.

We have some shrinkage and the front cap decals are starting to curl up. At the Buellton rally we were told this was a problem with some of the decals. They were currently trouble shooting what the best replacement program would be and to stay in touch with Keystone. It was the western regional rep and I can't remember his name right now... perhaps someone else can and will supply his e mail address.

We have removed all of our graphic decals due to shrinking and peeling. Left the Montana names and stripes on sides as they look just fine. Rig looks very nice this way. I like it better!! Decals come off fairly easily using a hair dryer.

Mine have started to shrink as well. I just use goobegone to remove the glue line under each decal. If I stay up on it, one could not really tell my decals have shrunk. I still wish Keystone would offer a full body paint job...

Our 2005 3670RL fifth wheel's decals have ALL begun shrinking and curling up.
The entire unit needs decal replacement. We have looked at many in the past year and find that quite a few have this problem. We have had no solution from Keystone, even though there is nearly 5 years remaining on the warranty. Seems to me these decals should be warranted...especially after only 2 years!

We were at Sunset Point RV park in Marble Falls and got to see mperk's decals. I couldn't believe the shrinkage. I think he is in the process of working with Keystone for some type of help.
We have had our Montana for a year now without shrinkage. We don't have our rig stored, it stays out in all types of weather. I do keep it washed and just waxed it with the Protectall cleaner and wax. I am keeping my fingers crossed that our decals don't shrink.

The decals on our 05 2955 have started to shrink and curl. I believe it's a problem with a lot of 04/05's as a Montana Rep, a Mr Krol, said they had a supplier problem. That sounds like a Montana problem to me. They are sending me a set of decals but I have to pay outa pocket to get them replaced. I believe Montana should step up to the plate and pay the cost of replacement....it's not our problem that they got a bad batch of decals from their supplier.
