Caught in a Prevost Rally!!!

We are heading home to San Antonio and stopped at Buckhorn Lake RV Park in Kerrville to do the usual final maintenance and clean up of the Monty. WOW--we are in the middle of a huge Prevost Rally. Never saw so many beasts in one place. Flags up everywhere, dealers parked new models to tour--we skipped that and huge tractor trailer rigs from Prevost to support their buyers. We will sneak out for the final 70 miles home before most the latte sippers will wake up. Hope I don't make too much noise!
I did not go to the local airport to see how many private planes flew in the owners and their drivers to move the beasts to the next stop. RVing is Fun!

you should have checked out the new models. Think of it a pre-lottery winnin shopping

Jeffba, I don't have a rental tux for the tour--my usual shorts and T-shirt would be a dead give away!

We toured one at the Tampa Show a few years ago, had to take off your shoes before you could enter.
Was neat, but just way to much fancy stuff for us, not to mention the 1.2 Million price.

It's also interesting when your jacks push down two feet into the campground because of the weight of your rig. Seen it and had to fill the holes.

My guess is that the Pilot of the private jet and the Pervost driver take care of that as well as taking care of draining the tanks! Or better yet, just leave and buy the RV park!

Timandsusan, you left santa fe too early. Another more normal 43 ft custom toy hauler by space craft came into the park. It looked almost normal compared to the 57 footer.

They probably said “ya’ll look at the cute little montana and the little truck pulling it. It’s so cute!” Buckhorn Lake Resort is a great park! Love that place!

I had a friend who attended one in his popup he had bought at a yard sale for $125. To him his camper did everything the others did. The funny thing is he could have bought any MH there.

Enjoyed the comments!

Thanks for all the fun! Yes Buckhorn is a great RV Park and I will continue to go there. Hope to see a few of you at Buckhorn or Santa Fe Skies!
