Cherry Hill Camp ground, College Park, MD.
We are in the planning stages for a trip to the Washington D.C. area in June with our grandson and have made reservations at this CG, has anyone stayed there? is it nice? We picked it so we can use the greyline tours to Washington D.C. and it seems to be nice according to their website.

We stayed there last summer for 4 nights and will do so again. By the time you spend all day sightseeing, it's a pretty quiet park at night. Enjoy the trip. Bill

Only thing I did not like about the place is they got you right up on the next guy, sites are small and close together.

We used this cg a couple years ago on our trip to DC. Liked the quiet evenings and indoor pool. Sites for us were adequate as we had room for a campfire and didn't burn any ones equipment.Waldo238 might have been in a different section and had small sites, we requested sites big enough for a big rig. We* do remember some sites were smaller than others, just request a bigger site. Also, a must, do the night tours of the memorial statues. Simply a thrill to see!

Yup, as others have stated...nice place, sites can vary we used it as an overnighter for several years running the "going home" from Va Beach to NY.

Excellent place to stay to see DC with ease. The bus picking you up in front is great. I recommend taking the bus to the railroad station the first day and taking a tour on one of the trolleys the first day and then going back another time to the places that you want to spend more time in. They are very helpful at the front desk.
