I had a local mobile detail guy I’ve been using on my truck come out and wash/Wax the Montana. She is all shined up and ready to roll.

Any idea of type/brand of polisher her used? I am trying to decide which polisher to buy so that I can do our 4th wheel and vehicles.

Any recommendations on polishers appreciated!

Good looking wash and wax! Love a good lookin Monty!

I use an old buff magic that my wife bought for me a while ago. When it wears out I will be purchasing the Griots garage G-9. Its also important to understand what pad does what and what polish to use as well. So a little bit of home work is involved.

Hope this helps you out.

IMHO most detailers and serious DIY people use the Porter Cable 7424xp dual action polisher. I own one myself and it works great.

The old school polishers would burn through you clear coat/paint and really cause lots of damage if you did not know how to use it.

It would be difficult if not impossible to do that with a dual action polisher.
