Arizona
Because of my wife's recent major surgery will will not be able to host down in the Fl Keys Nov. & Dec. Soooo, we are heading to Aizona around Oct. 15. I have a few things to get done around here first. We will be heading to the east central part of the state and then slowly move south towards Tucson. I hope I will get to meet some of the MOC members who might also be in the area in the 2 months out there. We like to stay in state and national parks. We are looking at Lyman Lake, Roper Lake and Patagonia State Parks. Any info will not only be helpful but appreciated.

I am sorry I can't help you with park selection but wanted to say I hope your wife's surgery went well and she is headed for full recovery. Good luck in Arizona. That's our tentative Jan/Feb location for 2008.

Dee, I don't know anything about the first two parks but we went to Patagonia to visit last year and it was a real nice park. It is also close to some great spots like Tombstone, Sierra Vista and Bisbee. All fun places to visit. The town of Patagonia has the best pizza at the Velvet Elvis that we have had in a long time. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the parks in that area. I put lots of pictures on our website last November. You might want to view some.

Thank you Steve and Helen for the feedback on my post. My wife is doing great and I appreciate you asking. Helen, you had some great pictures of the area and we will check out the Velvet Pizza.I just finished servicing my truck plus did a 4 wheel brake job and installed my Air Lift springs. We hope to have the house secured and everything completed by the weekend so we can head the rig west by Sunday. I hope we can meet some MOC members during our stay in AZ.
