Sinks in FB models
Anyone else have a problem with the distance the sinks are from the wall? I bump my head on the medicine cabinet. Seems like 3 or 4 more inches and I would make much less of a mess!
I think the counter top and bowl can possibly be modified by adding a 4 inch strip of corian counter top against the wall and moving the entire lower cabinet out the same amount. A few elbows and it would be much more useable.
Anyone else have ideas?

Noticed it when we first took delivery but guess we have gotten used to the configuration.

Ours in configured the same way. The DW got used to it the first couple of days, it took me about 2 weeks bumping my head before it finally sunk in. Now it is a none issue.

Yep! I'm the one with the sink in the bathroom, DW has the sink in the bedroom. I hit my head on the medicine cabinet all of the time. I wish montana could have move the sink out another 2 inches.....oh well.
this is on our 3402.

We found the same issue in our 3402, I purchased a new faucet with a longer spout and it did make the sink a little more usable. Two inches would make a huge difference with little impact on usable bathroom space.

One of the reasons we fell in love with the Montana High Country 305rl was it had a mirror only on the wall and the medicine cabinet was to the left of the sink in part of the linen closet. So we ordered one. We are picking it up Friday. It is the "new" model and now has a stupid medicine cabinet above the sink and the linen closet is moved to behind the toilet!! I am 6'5" and will hit my head. I am planning on taking it off the wall, adding a mirror, and putting toothbrushes and stuff some where else.
This was just about a deal breaker with us. The old model had it figured out. I don't know what happened.

So the next question is can this be fixed? Anyone attempted to remove the entire counter top and move it outwards 2-4 inches?

On our 3725 we found the same thing. Faucet too close to the sink edge, and smacking my head on the cabinet. I finally learned not to lean so close, and we also did what you did, got a faucet with a longer spout, which made a huge difference. Much more "user friendly now".

Love to meet the one who designed this sink medicine cabinet combo.. He'd be better off sellin donuts!. How long have they been making rvs? And they can't see the problem from the get go. Move the medicine cabinet and put a mirror in front of the sink..
