A really fun thing to do in a fun city

So I was sitting in the RV park in Austin, Texas thinking, hmmmmm what would be a fun thing to do?
Going on a guided tour of downtown on a Segway I says........
So we did! Tons of fun, we really enjoyed it, and Sue only crashed and burned once!
I called our friends, Driftwood Gal; Colleen and Bob, in a moment of weakness, they agreed to go, Colleen even found 4 coupons hidden in the ad, quite a sleuth, that Colleen.
We had the tour, amid hundreds of horrified sidewalk pedestrians, scattering in our path like frightened Pigeons. Rightfully so, as we had a mere 4 minutes of training. We actually did very well, there were 8 or so of us adventurers. I would stop and take a picture, as my Segway drifted back into whatever was behind me.
The trip lasted around 2 1/2 hours, our legs and feet were sore a little, but we were all having so much fun, we didn't notice.
Some pictures and links for you to see.

TT,

The charge for the ride was $65.00 with the coupon it was $60.00. They had a extra charge of $10 for insurance. They made sure they scared you enough, if you broke something, so you would buy the insurance. Money well spent IMHO if you really did damage something or the machine.

It was great fun meeting Jim and Sue. Looks like we will be seeing them in San Antonio on Friday. Ozz when did you sneak those pictures?

Got to run Sand Volleyball.

Colleen

Where at in San Antonio Ozz? I have errands to run tomorrow to get ready to leave on Friday. Could probably find some time during the day or evening.
