We had stayed there a few years ago, and the only problem we had was the trains every hour or so. It was a fairly nice place other than that, if you like train whistles you'll love it. They have a couple of ponds and there are three excellent golf courses very close by. The new casino at Morongo and the Cabazon Outlet stores are about a half hour away, you should find plenty to do. You may even enjoy a side trip up to Cherry Valley which is also affiliated with Fishermans.

PJ & Nan, drive safe!

Bill, I somehow thought trains nearby was required before getting a building permit to build a campground! We're actually in a park at the moment with no trains, no planes, and no busy streets! We've been here a month now and will be here another month. We're getting spoiled, I think.

Hello PJ and Nancy,
Sure glad you made the trip safely. Now you can enjoy the sounds of the trains once again! We are heading for Yuma about 8:30 this am. We'll be there about a week or so before heading up toward Ventura where our daughter now lives.

I hope you are prepared for some wet weather. Looks like we're going to get it. And I'm convinced that it is out to get me. We've had only a few really nice warm AZ days since we got here. The rest of the time I could have stayed in Bakersfield and been as well off! Well I would have missed some really nice folks and some beautiful scenery. Hey.... why am I complaining? It's been a great trip. I think we're still going to miss each other this time around but let us know if you're going to be around or near Yuma in the next week or so. See you later... Dennis and Mary Kay
