Deal on 3075RL Fell Through

This past Saturday morning DW gave the green light to ink a deal with the local Keystone Dealer on an '07 Montana 3075RL. DW had never seen it in real life just the floor plan. Anyway, gave the salesman a credit card deposit Saturday and told that because of out-of-town visitors the earliest we could make it to the dealership would be Wed. He said "No sweat."

Yesterday, our visitors told us they would like to go take a look at the unit. He retires next year and is considering getting into RVing. Early this afternoon we showed up unannounced at the dealership. Met the salesman and told him my wife, daughter, and friends wanted to look at the unit. He got the key and escorted us out. DW went in look around, sat down, and told me she thought it would do. DD went snooping around other units and called DW over to one. Long story short, we inked the deal on an '08 3600RE. Decided to go with a PulRite and 5th Airborn. Will pick it up Friday.

Joe-n-Doe - Congratulations on the new 3600RE. Something of the same sort happened to us - we decided to trade our 2000 3255RL for a new 3075RL but couldn't come to terms with an out of town dealer. Decided to see what the local dealer had and got a heck of a deal on a new 2006 3600RE that had been on the lot awhile. Our 3600 is the first style they made and so far we are enjoying it very much. Enjoy, and safe travels.

Congratulations, Joe and Doe. You will be pleased with this unit. We also have the 5th Airborne and know that you will really like that, too.

Congratulations!

We purchased a 2008 3600RE this summer. I'm sure you will be as happy with it as we are. Its a great unit for our lifestyle. We love the kitchen and the way the living area is set up.

Sounds to me like you made a great deal. The 3600RE is a great floor plan and I am sure you're gonna luv it. Was the PullRite and 5th AB part of the deal?

Glen..The best they would do is discount it. This was supposed to have been a quick trip to the dealer to show our visitors what we bought. Our daughter went with us and had to get to work. My wife's decision to upgrade was unexpected and put us into a time crunch. The numbers were good for the price of the rig, and I didn't have a lot of time to haggle over the hitch. They'll make up for it by installing a second battery.

Cheryl and I have an agreement. She picks the brand, model, floorplan and decor - I write the check and get great meals. Oh yeah... if something starts to fall off, I have to put it back...

Works well. Joe, sounds like you have the same "team" approach to selecting your new 5th wheel.
