Question glowstep revolution

Am thinking about putting on the Glowstep revolution, on the fitment guide it says my model is at the top of the range for the 4 step. Sitting level now on level site bottom of door is at 38 (range is 32.5 to 40) Five step is 39.5 to 48

Has anyone put the five step on or went with the four step and found places where they could have used the five?

Price difference is $40 between four and five step, they have an add on extra step for $110.

Just wondering if anyone has run into this and what you did. Mine is 2015 3611 RL.

Thanks

I installed the 5 step version on my sob. I was in the same position on height, found that you can remove a step if needed and it is too high. So far I have never found a location that the five step would not work. They are so adjustable, and sturdy that I would never go back to the spring board steps!! Love them!

I also have a 2015 3611 and installed the Glow Steps.
Had the same thoughts with the 4 vs 5 steps.

Ordered the 5 step because of the price difference in ordering the extra step separately.

We have used the steps both ways, 4 and 5 steps, and find that they will work either way.

When using the 4 step, the bottom and top steps may be a bit tall for your liking.
(extending the feet and using the lower top setting)

We love our glow steps and believe they are an excellent upgrade.

Oh, and the DW loves that they are lighter weight and easier to open and close.

I replaced my stock 4 step with the 4 step Glowstep. I have never had them not reach or be awkward to use. This is the best upgrade ever.

Thanks guys for the replies and insight.

You are saying you can remove a step on the 5 and make it a four if need be?

If you don't really need the 5 for the height it would just stretch farther from the side - is that correct?

Sounds kinda like a no brainer - just go ahead and get the 5 step and be able to cover all situations.

We do not have a Glow Step. But we do have a portable porch. It has 5 steps. My wife loves having the extra step. If you can make the 5 step version you might like having the extra step.

Yes. The steps connect with nuts & bolts.

To all: Thanks for the help. Figure while waiting to see if we even get to do any traveling this year I might as well do some things I've been thinking about.
Besides right now its parked beside the shed at the son in laws still in storage and that looks to me like "free help" lol.
