3761FL Under tv in bedroom

Hi all
New Montana owner here. Loving the forums! We just purchased a new to us 2022 3671FL and there is an odd area below the tv in the bedroom that appears to be stained plywood. See photo. What does everyone use this brown board for? It doesn’t match the trim anywhere else in the coach. Thanks!

We use the counter to empty our pockets onto ( wallet, keys, change, ect…). In the morning DW puts her nightgown there. The board ( being dark ) kind of helps keep glare off the tv I think too. We have the same rv only it’s a’21 model.

I see the use of the counter top as a dresser top, its the brown board that I don’t understand Why the color of the board is brown but maybe you’re right, about reducing glare on the tv.

We have the same 5er and love it. The to of the dresser we us to put our stuff on before bed. My change, glasses and such. Our backing is more black then brown and matches the trim around the ceiling and windows.

I hung a shelf for the soundbar and out DVD player under the TV. But i do not know the reasoning for the different color, other than it kind of match's the headboard.
