On the road again, at last!

I just got the good news from my doctor - the gland that they removed was cancer free. We were planning to travel the SW this winter but have been here in Michigan taking care of this medical business. We are now heading for Florida, right after Easter. First to Wauchula,
Peace River, to pan for sharks teeth. Then to Port Richey for a week and then to Mt. Rushmore. Better late than never. Our shakedown cruise with this, our 2nd Montana, was last fall to Goshen for the rally. Now we are really looking forward to this longer trip. We would be happy to share a cup of coffee with any MOCers that we may meet along the way. This forum has been my connection with our Monty during the long winter. Thank you all for beeing there - Jim

What a relief to get that news!
My prostate came back positive at 7.4 with an aggressive type of cancer in June, 2005, but brachytherapy and radiation seem to have worked and I'm reading 0.2 for the last 12 months. I know the feeling of relief.
Good for you!!!!
Go get 'em.

Congrats on your recovery, and moving out onto the road. Have a wonderful trip. I should hit Mt Rushmore around June 1 myself.

That is such great news! Glad to hear you are going to be able to go south. Even in the Spring it's good to get out of Michigan and head for a more southern area. You will now be free of the worry of your health matters and able to focus on enjoying your trip!
