AC/Furnace went out

Last week after returning home, we realized the AC/Furnace would not run. Thermostat is dead. No power. Have been troublshooting for a couple of days, have checked the following - all AC Circuit Breakers (without pulling the panel) I have power from the furnace going to the thermostat;

Has anyone had this problem? If so, what did you find, and where and were you able to fix it yourself?

Any advice or assistance would be appreciated/Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike,

Try turning all power off to the furnace and A/C unit; breaker (120 volt) and fuse (12 volt) How do you know you have power to the thermostat from the furnace?
(Hard to troubleshoot from a distance, as one persons description and check-out may vary, or be a little off base.)

Mike/Evy, did you see my email about checking the battery to see if it's weak or has a bad connection, especially on the ground? I have been told even though on 110v if the battery is bad the thermostat will not function.

Just wanted to update everyone - the problem with the AC Unit was the plug to the Ground inside the AC Unit on the roof - I may have missed some words of importance but am sure you guys will know what Mike means (I am just the messenger)...... it is fixed, as are a miriad of other things that were bothering us - dealer came through once again.

Don't get me started on Camping World however!
