I am going to second what Lamar said about Unicoi. When everything is factored into a campground, Marsha and I feel that it is our favorite destination. We will be heading out this weekend for two weeks there.
Though the campsites are closer than I like in the full hook up area, the campground and lake area are beautiful and there is so much to do in that area of the north Georgia mountains. I have also become very fond of riding my bike in the area.
