Level up gone bad

Prior to our first outing this year I was checking all systems. Level up would not turn on. Disconnected power no help. Removed panel with control box removed plug. When plug was replaced the unit came on with en error-press enter to acknowledge. No commands would respond. I did press auto level and it went through the cycle just fine. Manual mode nothing. Could not extend or retract any of the legs. Called dealer and told to press all four triangles at the same time. Manual would only do one command. Could not turn the unit off. The only way to turn it on is to unplug and put the plug back in. Any ideas?

Call Lippert customer service. They are great and very helpful and then please let us know what they recommend.

Seems like a rising percentage of Level Up issues as more and more units come standard with it. Other websites I frequent have several Level Up posts as well. Just when I was warming up to retiring the wood levelers. Yeah I know ... when it works, it's just Heaven!

I agree with DQDick. Call Lippert and ask for customer service or one of the trouble shooters. I had approximately the same thing happen to me and they talked me through the procedure and we found the problem. Mine was one of the batteries was dead and the unit would not work because of not enough power.

Called Lippert this am, Was told the control module was bad. Called dealer. Waste of time. Went out to rig just now and tried several combinations of touching the 4 front back side buttons. Something magic happened. It now works!!! If I knew what changed it I would tell you.

When I began training as a shiny new USAF computer tech, it was on vacuum tubes & discrete transistor things in '62. It's still the same today when it comes to computerized things - Murphy's law and lots of FM (Freeking Magic!).
