This is complicated!!!
In the past, well.. yesterday and today, we have: Contacted Escapees for mail forwarding service paperwork, talked to the post office about forwarding the mail to them, bought Sprint wireless router/Internet dealie, subscribed to Direct TV for the RV, tried...unsucessfully to get some slug to mow our grass..
(3 no-shows). Hired a contractor to finish my broken fence, cleaned out the basement of the Monte, I called the Ford dealership and told them I was going to open a case with Ford Motor Company because my A/C vent is STILL blowing air with the burned motor winding smell, that has been in there 3 times for.. (Appointment at 8:30 A.M.)
and, fixed the bedroom A/C unit. Whew....
Oh, and I did 3 service calls today.
I need to retire....

I don't know, I think about the things I have to do and my head starts spinning, there are so many details. Now I am seriously considering the rooftop sat to replace my original Winegard dome.
We loved the simple one-button push for set-up. If I order that, I have to wait for it to come in and install it.
Probably 3 weeks???? (When we leave.)
When will you be in town?

Good idea Jack, I went to an RV parts place in Kansas this morn, he wouldn't budge on the list, but yesterday a guy in Liberty (about 10 miles away) said he would knock off a couple hunnert. I will visit him in an hr. or so. I am putting it on the top of my list. Sue and I just cleared a bay in the shop so I can back up my truck and switch tool-boxes, and install the Monte Hitch.

No need for your head to go swimmin', Jim. Just do the things first that you need to get started and everything else is something you can do in your new life. Remember, you won't be on vacation. You don't have to hurry. Get there, stay awhile, do some of the things you still need to do.
A non-rv'ing friend looked at me really strangely when I told him it would take us 6 1/2 weeks to get from southern California to northeast Kansas!
