Pac or Jacobs exhaust brake?

I am looking to add an exhaust brake to my 06 Dodge 5.9l Cummings. The two I am considering are the Pac and the Jacobs. The Pac seems better with respect to being air driven by a small electric compressor vs adding a vacuum pump to the engine.

Does anyone have experience with either one?

Thanks,

Jim

Have the Jacobs on our 4.5. liked the Banks better on the 01 but Jacobs was all I could get at the time.

Jim: Jake brake is covered under your vehicles 36/36 warranty if purchased (and installed?) by dealer (not 100% sure about the installation portion) so assuming you still have some warranty mileage left, that may be an incentive. Also, not sure by your sig block if you have manual or automatic tranny; if auto, the Dodge install also has a program modification to the tranny lock / shift sequence to make it work better (at least mine did -- I have an early 06 3500 DRW with auto trans). Hope this helps some.

I have recently had the Pac installed. Heading out this Thursday. May get a better read at that time.
