Sky,

I lost the tire thread, is LT or ST the "good ones" I know Lonnie or Glenn will probably answer but I'm think the LT are what most of us have on our TV????

Wasn't this thread originally about hitches?

Don't "sweat it"... it was edifying for all.

Brad, I don't know what the difference in weights would be (from your sticker and mine). It's kind of like the vehicle lengths that are given in the brochures. Have you noticed? They're also different. Some say 37'4" while others have it over 38'.....go figure?

Thanks to all who answered the question about the 16k hitch. I feel better now.

With the new axles and increased GVWR I think I would go to the 18K hitch if I was buying one.We have the 3400 with the just under 14K gvwr and the 16 hitch.

I was thinking that Rich. Reese has the new 18K that fits my old style rails and slider. It's basically a Signature series head on the same frame. Talked to Reese and they said the slider and rail kit for both the 16K and the new 18K are the same. I kind of like that locking head on the signature as well.

Not something I really felt like buying right now, but should.

The listed GVWR for the B.S is 16105..3510 of that being CC.You may never get that close to GVWR but you never know. Personally I would feel better with the 18K hitch. But then I always over do things.
