WATER

While I was poking around the net I found this water storage drvice, I do believe that is a great idea, also it folds up into a small shape when not in use, I will probably buy the 3' x 4' bladder it holds twice as much water for only 10.00 more.
Here is the link.

I was a scoutmaster for about 12 years and we had to take water with us on alot of our camping trips since we were going to the fields or forests with no utilities.
I work in a hospital laboratory and we receive saline solution in 20 liter containers. These are in carboard containers that we usually discard. We can then fold up the containers when not in use but each will hold 20 liters of water when full. I have both 4 liter and 20 liter containers.
Any hospital laboratory would probably be glad to save and give you their containers since we throw away the empties. The saline solutions are what we call "Isotonic" so there is no contamination.

Thanks TT,

That looks like it would come in very handy in Hurricane Territory for storing drinkable water.

When we dry camp for and extended period (over a week), we wash dishes in a small basin put into the sink then pour the water into a 5 gal pail stored by the toilet. We then use a paper cup to dip water out of the pail to flush the toilet. Works great and gives us double use of our water. We also catch what water we can when taking a shower (Navy bath - you vets will know) and pour that water into the pail also. For extra drinking water, we always carry 4 gals of water from the store (refilled when necessary) and a case of bottled water in the truck. We've been dry camping for two weeks this way with no problem.
