Subcompact Class C

Thought you might find this a little different in an RV.

In 1966, our family took a 2 week vacation from Grand Rapids, MI to Yellowstone via the U.P. > SD Badlands > Black Hills > N. WY > stayed in a cabin for one week in Pray, MT (just N of Yellowstone). Then back through Glacier NP > Billings, MT (relatives) > ND Badlands > U.P. > Home.

Our Family = Dad & Mom, 14 yr old son (me), 12 yr old son, 10 yr old daughter, 7 yr old daughter.
Our Rig = Family size tent - Stayed at KOA's
Our "tv" = VW Bug, pulling a 16 ft aluminum boat with all gear and supplies and 5 hp motor (tarped).

I remember the trip and the places we saw... It wasn't until many years later, however, that I looked back and thought, "We took 6 people on a two week trip in WHAT???" Couldn't have been that bad, as I don't remember any of us complaining.

dsprik,

You must have all been tiny people, or a loving family. My brothers and I would have killed each other in the first 20 miles.

"MOM, HE'S ON MY SIDE!"

"NO I"M NOT!"

"YES YOU ARE!"

"HE'S TOUCHING ME!"

"NO I'M NOT!"

"YES YOU ARE!"

"YOU STARTED IT!'

Yup, the good old days.
