Wiring Harness

In process of preparing 2015 F-350 for towing the Montana. Was on line trying to order the Bargman 51-97-410 harness. When I put in truck info both E-trailer and Amazon says wont fit my vehicle.

Anybody on forum using this harness on new 2015?

I cant see Ford changing the standard 7 pin connector for 2015.

Maybe it's just not in their database yet. I doubt that they would have changed the industry standard 7 pin configuration.

I answered my own question. Looked it up on the internet. When I had the B & W Turn over ball hitch installed in my new truck I also had the harness installed in the bed.

The more I think about it, I think CORattler is correct.

I take it you are putting a connector in the bed of the truck. The 7 pin should be the same. But the ends that are showing on the Amazon page for connecting to the truck might be different.

My 2014 came already with the connector in the bed.

Only thing I can think of is that maybe the wiring harness splice is not compatible with the truck harness which just means you do a manual splice which is what I did for the plug in my truck bed.

I have a 2015 F350. I have found that 2014 accessories fit the 2015. The suppliers have not updated the data bases. I think about the only thing that changed for 2015 is the turbo and the HP fuel pump. You could call Etrailer and confirm the compability.

Simpson, I think you are right. Was on the phone with e-trailer they wont say one way or the other with out first talking to Bargman. However they do have Draw tight, and a Hopkins T connector that is for 2015 F-350, both look like junk.

By T connector, (this is a three end cord) One end mounts inside bed.
Other end has two plugs. You simply unplug factory harness from 7 pin plug on bumper bracket, Then plug that into new cord, and other end back in plug on bracket. Now you have two 7 pin connector that work.

the Bargman is also a T connector.
