Good to hear from you..... You see what age does to your memory. I forgot the Viking game. If I remember right, Hunt was the one that named it the "Super Bowl" when he started the Chiefs that came out of Texas. Hunt was one of the two brothers that bought up all of the gold around at that time.... Don't know for sure when we will be in K.C. Probably soon. We fly to Wendover NV on March 7th for the weekend and it will probably be before that...JB

Lamar Hunt, former owner of the Chiefs did in fact name it the SuperBowl. He also started the AFL. Actually it was Lamar Hunts two brothers Bunk & William and it was the silver market. They both ended up in bankrupcy and were later convicted of manipulating a commodities market. Let us know when you come to KC. Jim

I believe the Chiefs were in the very first Super Bowl, weren't they? And I think we lost that one, too. We did win one later, if I recall. The wins are so few you'd think I'd remember each of them.

The problem is the wins weren't just years ago but rather decades ago! If I remember correctly, the last time they won the SB the Beatles were on tour and we were still in Viet Nam. However, take heart, it could be worse...you could be a Cubs fan.
