Hello from SE WA State
Wanted to say hello..... We have been RVing off and on for 30 years and have decided to sell everything and go full time. After looking at Montanas, they are high on our list of possibilities.
Looks like a great bunch of people here and a lot of good information!

Welcome, please join us in loving our Montanas and at the same
Time being willing to criticize them. Ther is none perfect, but most of us here would reccommend them as being the most for the money. You will also find friendly , knowledgeable folks here. When and if you do have a problem, someone here will surely have the solution. Come aboard!
Larry

The MOC is the place to be. What seems to me to be the prevailing thought is THE MOST BANG FOR THE BUCK from the Montana brand. We like the Redwood fifthwheel, but it will cost say about 40K more. We have had several small issues with our Monty and fixed all by myself. Being handy with tools or a trained fix-it-man is a good background for owning a 5th wheel. For fulltiming or longtiming as in our case a problem(not an issue) was the Goodyear Marathon tires. These tires for us was a waste of money. I recommend insisting on a different tire or eating the cost of changing them yourself as it is very likely that you will spend the money anyway on a different set of tires after dealing with the Marabombs. To end this post on a positive note, we like our Montana Mountaineer, it weighs about 2000 lbs less and for us it cost about say 20K less than the regular Monty. But after 2.5 years we are just learning, and reading the MOC for solutions and getting acquainted online and in person with many members has been a real life blessing.

Welcome to the forum and the full time lifestyle. You'll find many of us full time. We love our Montana and while we did have a couple of serious problems in the beginning, Keystone stepped up and made it right each and every time. If we had to replace it, we would replace it with another Montana.

Welcome to the MOC Family. You sure hit the nail on the head, "We are a great bunch of people"--hahahaha. Couldn't let that one go by. Anyhow there is a ton of information here and lots of people willing to share and help you in just about any way possible, except maybe make Montana payments for ya--lol. Good information on everything from plumbing, to campgrounds, to TV's and Parties. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie
