Flathead Freds

I welded up a Flathead Fred Geocache and set it out back in Kansas City, it gets lots of approval and Favorite points, so I made one here in Arizona at the wood shop. This one is 'Freds' because there are two Freds. I made this one out of Cactus wood and scraps I found in the wood pile. What a nice wood shop they have here!
Why two Freds? Don't know, just figured they could talk to each other out in the Desert waiting for people to find them..

Poor Freddie, his life has been defined by his appearance. Flat head, flat feet….
Even as a baby, other parents secretly wondered if poor Freddy had been dropped on his head… The sad fella hasn’t had a pleasant life, anything he touches turns flat, flat beer, flat sodas.
He carries 3 spare tires in his trunk.
Freddie’s favorite foods? Pizza…Pancakes…Flour tortillas.
Freddie did not do well in school, he just couldn’t get around admitting the earth’s true shape…
Freddy still drives the old Ford Flathead, when he can keep the tires up.
When Freddie found out about the new television screen models he was one of the first to buy them.
Freddy’s wife… yep, she is.
Oh, I didn’t mention it before, he is from Kansas….
Be kind to Fred

Is that a flat top haircut Freddie is sporting? When I was a kid my dad made me get my hair cut that style, so when I became a smart teenager I just left it grow down to my shoulders. I guess it was a 60's thing.
