New to RVing and MOC

What a great tool MOC is in giving us the support and answers to our many questions. We just purchased a 36' 2004 Big sky ( so very lucky to find this RV) We will pull it with a 2003 3500 Silverado dually. Have had experience pulling a large boat so hope this will make the transition easier. Retirement is 4 weeks away and we are so anxious to get out and see the country and meet new friends. It is wonderful to be excited about life again and who says it's down hill from here.

Hi flager and welcome to the MOC family.

Those 4 weeks will be over before you know it. Are your plans to be full timing or part timing?

Couple years ago we stayed just up the road from you at Beverly Beach Camptown. If your new RVing adventures happen to take you towards the west coast and Clearwater this winter be sure to give us a shout.

Welcome, Flagler. You're about to start the best part of your life....retirement! And it will be even better with that wonderful Montana that you found. We have a get together in Elko, Georgia, starting March 31, if you'd like to join us and meet others from the forum. There's a thread under MOC camping clubs - Southeast area. It doesn't cost anything to make a reservation so sign up if you might be interested. It's a time to learn a lot from other owners.

Welcome to the MOC. You are going to enjoy all the great information and good folks you will find here. I noticed you are in Flagler Beach...my parents used to stay at a campground there with a small RV. Was many years ago, but I can sure remember my dad having a great time surf fishing in your area. We too are in FL for the winter. If you get over towards Orlando do drop my and say hello. You can find us at the Encore Lake Magic on Hwy 192 neay Hwy 27. Enjoy that retirement. We have been retired for a little over a year and are having a great time. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase. All the Big Sky units are beautiful, but you didn't say which floorplan you decided upon. Ours is the 3670 RL and we really enjoy it. Our hope for you is that your retirement and nomadic lifestyle will be more than you are expecting. You are right. The MOC makes the experience better. Happy RVing....

Welcome aboard. Nice to have another Floridian in the group. We're only a hundred miles or so north of you. Know you'll enjoy the new Monty. Hope to see you down the road.
