Slideout bottom

The fabric on bottom of slideout has torn near left side. How do they remove slide or I there any way to just lift the slide a couple of inches to see what is causing problem. Any help would be good.

Look up from the bottom of the slide to where it enters the RV. There is a flap seal there. Gently pull that flap back with your hand. Use a strong flashlight to look inside. You can also lift up the carpet on the inside of the slide to see if there is something there.
Please keep us posted as to what you find and how you resolved it.

When mine did that, there was a screw that had backed out or stripped out and was sticking up quite a bit. What I did was to put the slide out about half way and jacked it up until the top of the slide touched the top of the slide opening, about an inch or so if I remember correctly. Then got under the slide and used a sawzall to cut the screw off as low as I could.

That solved it, and have not had any other screws pop up. I blame rough roads to have caused the problem

i have pulled the slide in about 1 1/2" and the only thing I could find is that the rub strip was a little ruff. The problem now is how to repair fabric.

Day one hour one with our new 3950BR opened slide by theater seats and gouge in floor and light tear on bottom of slide. Called dealer upset, said they would "patch it" and we are still arguing over it. I have looked everywhere I can, I assume it was a screw left on the floor where they worked on the theater seat and it was spit out between slide a seal after damage was done.

I have not done it but was thinking a high quality duct tape or maybe even the aluminum duct tape as that stuff is tough as nails, super thin and slick providing no resistance or thickness to grab or be pulled off.
