Circuit Breakers/ No 12v power
2011 3665RE Montana
Recently purchased the used RV (in excellent condition). We recently have found that with the Battery Disconnect in the "ON" position, we have no 12v power anywhere. battery has been checked and is at 13.6V after sitting idle for a week. There a circuit breaker in the forward storage compartment (behind the propane compartment but it is OK and I am getting power across it. Are there other circuit breakers, how many and if so where. OR what is the problem.
Once hooked up to land power, everything works fine.

Make sure the switch in your convenience center is set so you can not pull the key out.

The On/Off labeling on that switch is confusing. The best position is when the red key can not be removed. You are then getting 12V to and from your batteries. If you want to disconnect the batteries, do it by pulling the negative cable at the battery. The red key in the convenience center does *NOT* disconnect *ALL* 12V power.

A charge level of 13.6 occurs when the converter is charging the battery. A normal battery, disconnected from shore power for at least 15 mins, is 12.4V to 12.6V.

There are two self-resetting circuit breakers with red plastic caps on the wall of the front compartment behind the batteries. You need to check that both of them are passing 12V.

If everything 12V works when with shore power, then it implies the converter is working. Now disconnect the shore power and measure for 12V at:
- The battery connection on the converter
- On each side of the two 12V self-resetting circuit breakers
- At the battery
- In the convenience center on both sides of the "disconnect switch" with the key in the non-removable position
That is the path 12V power moves to/from the Battery/Converter. Somewhere along this path is a problem.

All fuses are OK, Should have stated that at the start. But aren't the fuses for land power (110v)?

12 vdc uses fuses in the load center and auto reset circuit breakers in the front compartment near the battery. Like this:

120 vac uses regular circuit breakers in the load center.

FIXED! Thanks for your input. It was one of the circuit breakers (one of three found), which begs the question: How many circuit breakers are there? I've search and cannot find a detailed wiring diagram.
You said that the Battery Disconnect switch DOES NOT disconnect ALL 12v. So what does it NOT disconnect?

Yeah, you will not find any wiring diagrams or schematics. Depending on the year they have either 2 or 3 of the cheap auto reset circuit breakers.
The battery disconnect switch disconnects power to the 12 vdc load center (fuse panel). It does not disconnect power to the hardwired propane detector and to the breakaway switch to the brakes. Again, depending on model there may be other things. My 2007 did not have auto level and the front jacks were wired direct to the battery.
