RV Parks in East Denver Area

We're planning to visit Daughter who lives in Aurora (East Denver) in late July / early August.

Any recommendations on how to find a good RV Park in the area?

Thanks

State park in Aurora - Cherry Creek. Very nice, a little pricey for a state park because you have to pay a daily park entrance fee also. They have FHU and wifi. I haven't stayed for 5-7 years and wifi didn't reach all sites very well, but it could have chance by now.

There isn’t much around there. Cherry Creek is closest but you may not find a site there they book up early. There is a KOA but its about a 1/2 hour east of Denver.
We stayed there three years ago and couldnt find much good luck hope you can find something.

I used RV Trip Wizard to look at that area. We live outside Fort Collins and have fished kayak tournaments down that way. Camping sites, unfortunately, will be hard to find. If you are a vet, Buckley AFB has a campground. There is a KOA outside Strasbourg. If you can’t find anything else, you could boondock in National Forest/BLM land. Cherry Creek and Chatfield State Parks are probably booked. There are a few other CG’s around there. Use RV Trip Wizard or All Stays and you will be able to get their websites and reviews. As RV sales have gone through the roof, boondocking will get more popular/necessary. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
