3800 or 3900fb

Hi all, has anyone had the opertunity to see the 3900FB at any of the shows? We are currently in south Texas and none of the dealers have one yet. Also we have been looking at the 3800 and would like any feed back that owners might have on this one. If we trade we will probably opt for the Big Sky package due to the full body paint. Thanks, Mike

Mike, We were able to go through one of the 3900's while at the Fall Rally! We liked it but the living area is somewhat smaller than the others due to the main bath being front of the bedroom yet and the closet being infront of that yet! Also the second bathroom(half bath) is interesting too. You can get a look at the floor plan by going to the opening page of the Forum, click on Montana at the top of the page then click on the floorplan section and page down to the floorplans. They don't have the specifics as to weight and etc on the section but you can get an idea of the floorplan anyway! It all depends on what your individual tastes are in the way of floorplans and comfort!
Everyone has their own tastes, wants and needs!

Thanks I looked at the floor plan on the Keystone web site, I figured that the living area was smaller. I am more or less leaning toward the 3800. Well at least momma is. I am still not sure what I want. LOL

I have the 2013 3800 re Big Sky, I picked it up on Aug 21 and have been loving everyday of ownership. This is not to say that it is problem free, like most there will be issues to be addressed during the first year. The spaciousness of the living area is great and the extra storage inside and outside was hard to match by other contenders. I looked at the 3900fb and liked it also. Since the space for the washer and dryer was provided in the 3800 re , I think I would still go with this model if I had the choice.

good luck

We also went thru the 3900 at the Rally. For us the living space was too small. Kind of depends on personal preference and whether or not you full time.

we also saw the 3900 at the rally/. I do not think it is yet ready for purchase. The concept is IMO a good one but it needs some re designing.

We looked at the 3900fb and the 3800re at the rally along with the 3750fl and like all three enough to pick up a $1000 certificate just in case.
