Check this out!-- bus conversion

On another forum they were talking about someone thinking about converting an articulated bus and gave a page where they were selling them. I clicked on another link and got this 1939 bus conversion: http://www.bargainbusnews.com/Buses/...orsFuturliner/ and it can be yours for only 3/4 of a Mil give or take $50,000.

Wow, DQ, you found a good one!

...powered by a 145 horsepower, 302 cubic inch GMC gasoline engine...Compression ration is 7.3 to 1. Bore and stroke are each 4 inches... produced 262 foot pounds of torque at 1,400 revolutions per minute.

This would be a huge financial step up from a VW bus, but at least it does have duallies in the rear as well as duallies in the front! This should be plenty for holding up the weight and maneuvering, but you wouldn't be moving very fast with this power plant especially up and down hills.

Other oddities... the driver is centered at the front and you sit up real high!!!

Wow, and some of my friends tell me a lot of RV parks won't accept motorhomes over 10 years old. LOL.

You bet, it's just hard to source the bags. Especially on a 1939 model intervac

That "thing" is a glorified Limo or Party Bus. Locally we have Company (Bust Loose http://www.bustloose.com/ ) that has coverted school buses which the interiors are modified similar albeit not as extravagant as that monstrosity. They mostly use their buses for saturday night and Halloween etc "Pub Crawls."
