Interior Decorating

I'd love to hear from everyone as to how they have decorated the inside of their RV's. For example, I have taken down all of the curtains, yet left the cornice boards, and, using extension rods inside the cornice boards, have hung lace curtains. Certainly brightens up the place, and love it when the windows are open and they are blowing in the breeze. Anyone have more ideas??

I took off all the fabric covered valances and the trim around the slides and replaced them with red oak valances. The 5" wide trim around the slides look nice with oak around them. I think it looks richer with oak...

I considered it decoration to remove the uncomfortable, heavy, fabric covered recliners that came with the monty and put in lighter, stress-free recliners...or the tile backsplash in the kitchen. Other than that it is artwork and green plants. john

I just finished removing all the valences and putting up new curtains.what a difference! Next is sticky tiles around the stove. We removed our bed chesterfield a while ago in favour of two rocker-recliners. Now we each have our own "space". Hubby removed the horrible wallpaper border yesterday. Luckily it just peeled right off leaving no sticky residue

Let me ask. I have a friend, disabled, who would like to full time and help with the expenses by making RV curtains. How much of a market is there for this?

I put Wall Words above the entry door. "Life is a journey and only you hold the map."

We also removed the paper covered trim around the ceiling and replaced with oak. And removed the 6" wide paper covered boards around the slide and put on red oak.. I think all these turned out great..
