Did you know you have 2 Kit exhaust hood dampers?
Well, some of you, I haven't checked out all years and models of trailers. My '07 3400 RL Kitchen exhaust hood has a spring lever release damper you have to operate when using the exhaust fan. I have been operating my fan at about 10% since it was new
Hey, no one told me, and a 6'1" I never bent down and read the sticker on the hood. I always thought the fan didn't work well..
I removed the hood to change the noisy fan out and install a quiet 'Muffin' fan, like the computers and electrical cabinets have.
While I have it out, I will install two LED light fixtures, and put in a LED 'Peanut' bulb in the stock light. I cleaned the hood real good before I started, full of grease.. because it never went out of the Monte.
When I get the lights installed, I will post pictures of that.
I ripped off the idea from the Internet. Few ideas are original.

Your rig is getting so far past a stock Montana that it's time you repainted the outside with a new name. Something like the Ozz express or ........

Ozz, we had a SOB that had an inside damper like yours and it took us years to discover. Everybody we ran into with the same brand didn't know it was there.

I discovered that on mine about a month ago when I replaced the outside vent cover. I saw a clip inside and pushed it out of the way and now the damper opens most of the way when the fan is on. I like the idea of the muffin fan.

Hey Ozz, where are you finding the LED replacement bulb for the hood light? I have been looking as the original gets so hot, but have not found one.

Thanks Ozz - I got all of my LED's from Mike & Kat but did not find this one. Mine is a small appliance bulb that has a screw base. Is that the same as yours?
