Well I finally had resigned myself to getting the Companion Hitch and get the adapter plate so that it will work in my 2013 RAM 3500. I had called B&W about 10 days ago and they had no information on the new design coming out. I thought that before ordering the Companion Hitch I would call B&W and make sure I could get the adapter plate. And guess what. The sales rep told me that she had just been told only hours before my call that the new Companion Hitch that will work with the Ram 3500 without adapter plates was available to start shipping today. I ordered it right on the spot. She said I was the first person to get one. They had not even issued a press release on the unit. So, for those of you wondering what to do, B&W now has a full solution. I installed the Turnover Ball portion on my truck last week. It was a breeze. Only took me about 45 minutes, and that was mostly the time to drop the spare tire and the exhaust, which was easy. I will let you know how the hitch itself performs after I get it.
