Da bears visit WNEP

Our local ABC station, WNEP, has a back yard set from which they do LIVE weather. Last night during the 11 pm weather, they got visitors.

I believe I would have had a tendency to do what the reporter did… “RUN” although that was probably not the wisest thing to do.

Hope their benefits include laundry for their shorts.

I'm in central PA and the stations here also ran the footage. Last week my son and grandson went for a bike ride on a rail to trail. They came back early and said everyone on the trail was leaving because there was a mama bear and cub roaming the trail. They are definitely out of hibernation and on the move.

Believe it or not John and Judy, they showed this on one of our local channels here, too! Channel 16 which is WNDU out of Notre Dame in South Bend. I can gaurantee none of those bears would have caught me because, they would not have been able to get any traction!!!
