Front Cap

Has anybody seen whats behind the front CAP? is it loaded with fiberglass, or just a empty void that drops down to the pin box.
The reason I'm asking is I want to run some wires through it and put a light near the top center under the running lights. and info will be appreaceated.

Don

On my 2980 there is fiberglass batting on the front wall between the cap and closet and some on top of the plastic pan underneath the bedroom. I dunno how thick it sticks out toward the cap ... probably 3" batting.

I've seen them at the factory. There is a fibreglass blanket up against the rig. Then they put the cap on. I would think you could snake some wires down through there. Be careful, though, as the service center showed me one that was full of mud dauber nests and they said that's not uncommon. They come up through the pinbox.
