Things this years Rally may be missing!

At the present time we have a great Rally in site. We will have an Amish dinner, factory tour, OEM vendors speaking, a Keystone Customer Service person speaking on maintenance, Woman's events and the Ladies Driving School will be held at a different time than the factory tour so everyone can do the tour without being rushed or missing part or all of it.
On the list below:
Black means the event still won't happen unless someone steps forward
Brown means someone has volunteered but needs an assistant
Blue means that someone has volunteered to facilitate the activity but they will still need all our help
Activities that we won't have, that have been popular in the past unless someone steps forward (Newbies welcome, we'll help you succeed, and all reasonable costs are reimbursed) are:

1. Coffee in the morning - Charles Evans has volunteered to make coffee in the morning and hopefully I can talk Mary Ann into taking care of getting the groceries. We will still need someone to make the coffee after lunch and we will need volunteers to bring large coffee pots. Thank to Charles and Mary Ann as well as those others who elect to help out.

2. Water and ice Ice and water will be provided thanks to Stephen and Diane Pena (lostshakerofsalt) who are going to take care of this for us. Sandy and Larry Toews (ltoews) have also volunteered to help so we will have water and ice.

3. Entertainment night (line up entertainment from those who perform in our group)

4. Ice Cream Social - Bernie & Judy Weithorn and Richard & Evelyn Vicenzi have graciously volunteered to make sure the Ice Cream Social comes off.

5. Media Exchange
(craft people like this one)

6. Meet and Greet
Bev Schlee (worknomore) has been gracious enough to step forward and chair this event. She will need helpers and for us to bring food items. She'll be letting us know on the forum how we can help her.

7. Campfires
Alan Ricker (Alsan) has graciously offered to take care of the campfires.
[b]
8. Pancake Breakfast This one is going to happen. Look for the post to volunteer to bring something!

9. Pot Luck Dinner
Dennis, Sharon and Jennifer Maison have graciously volunteered to make this happen

10. Raffle and door Prizes (traditionally members bring door prizes they got from their dealers and others and the best items were raffled off and the almost best items are door prizes. Ron and Mary Lichtenberg (Rondo) have graciously taken this task over this year. We have one door prize already, since I got the *@#$#@* donkey last year (new folks will just have to attend to learn about this great prize)

11. Show and Tell (many of us have some great modifications we have either done or purchased and others are curious about whether it's something they want to add. This gives folks a chance to see the Mods in person on someone else's rig. WE NOW HAVE VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN AND WE'RE GOING TO TRY IT A NEW WAY THAT HOPEFULLY WILL WORK BETTER.

12. Wine and cheese party.
Another evening of fun that WILL happen since George and Rosetta (jaybird) have stepped up to facilitate it.

In addition, for each event that gets added to the list there must be a clean up crew to put things back and clean up to be ready for the next event.

There might also be something else you would like to see added and if so, volunteer and that event will become part of this years Rally.

Thanks for taking over the campfires!! They're always a fun part of the Rally experience. I'm not sure what was done with the cakes last year, but I will be looking into it.

Ron and Patty Schorr will be glad to help on the clean up crew where/when needed. If you have a more urgent need than clean up, just let us know and we'll try and help where possible.

Actually clean up is a concern. I'm going to put you down and if it's alright I'll work with you to make sure each event has a good clean up crew and the job is done. Thanks for volunteering!

Thanks very much! I've forwarded you offer of the coffee pot to Charles and Mary Ann Evans (Sugar) who are handling the Coffee and your offer to help on Meet and Greet to Bev & Jim Schlee (worknomore) who are handling that event.
