Redmond Rally

Has anyone attended the Redmond Rally? Or, are you planning on going this year???? Any thoughts appreciated......Will be in the area in July and contemplating a visit this year.....

We have given it some thought since we live in the state, but big crowds are not our favorite thing and at least I (Nancy) work full time so cannot attend the whole thing. Still thinking about it though.

We were there two years ago and had a ball. We're still trying to replace the dent that it made in our savings. There is so much great stuff there to buy and I think I got one of everything.

Phil and Cathy, one of the prettiest routes in the USA is along the Columbia river Drive. Go S from Moscow on 95 to Lewiston. SW on 12 to I-84 Go along the River toward The Dalles and South on 97 all the way to Bend.

If you are early you might want to spend a few days or so at MT Hood. Be sure to save lots of time after the rally to visit the area. My very earliest pictures on our blog are from there so go back to page 1 and you will have an idea of the beauty. It's not Alaska but it sure is pretty.....

Just curious if anyone is going to be at TTN Sunriver/Lapine this coming weekend? We will be there to celebrate a friends 50th anniversary in Bend Saturday. We will be there Friday thru Monday leaving Wed. morning.

Helen, We did take that route and you were right, it is a beautiful ride. We are now at the Rally at the Deschutes County Fair Grounds. Just getting rounded up for the day so we can head for the grounds. Unfortunately we are staying off site so have to take the bus, or take a chance on finding a place to park. We are in lot F, row 106, site #2, on the end.

BTW, our Meet Your Match numbers are 1603 and 2655. Stranger things have happened; we might match or someone else out there may read this.

Did you see the entertainment last night? I thought Tom Stevens was really great.
