Remote Wouldn't Work - Couldn't Close Slides

We went to close up today and nothing happened when we went to use the remote control to close up the slides. Checked with the stabilisers etc and nothing was responding to the remote which otherwise seemed to be working (LED was flashing when transmitting).

Checked voltage into the control unit which was good so tried the reprogramming procedure but nothing happened so I removed all power from the controller (had to disconnect the batteries) and then reapplied power. This reset the controller and everything started working again.

Posting in case anyone else runs into the same problem.

Cheers
Craig

Sorry to hear of your woes; it’s always scary when something don’t work like it should. I don’t know what could have happened but I’m glad it started working for you.

Craig,
My remote on my 2010 started working erratically - replaced the battery and that took care of the problem.

Jerry

ps there are (2)screws on the remote. One is behind the label.

After four months of daily use ours stopped working as well. Replacing the battery solved the problem as Jerry noted.
