Paulrem, hooters, you got me, the only thing I know for sure is that at Thanksgiving and Christmas you see their turkeys for sale for $1.19 a lb. I have never bought one so I don't know if it is worth the cost, but I do know that they are very amish looking. But they do have cars. Or at least the ones that I saw did. No horse and buggies here! LOL

Kathi, boy am I glade you did not know what Hooters was, I was afraid that I was going to get into trouble with you. If those turkeys are that expensive, I bet they would be good.

The Hooterites follow the teachings of Jacob Hooter they are great farmers and I don't think you would find them at Hooters. They are a religous sect. Although they are pretty resourceful......

They are actually called the Hutterian Brethren (Hutterites). There were a couple of groups that lived close to where we lived in Washington State. Very nice people. Here is a link to one of their websites if you are interested.. http://www.hutterites.org/
