New High Country owners

We just purchased a 2019 High Country. It's in storage so not easy to access. We need to know size of cabinet for washer and dryer. There is a shelf in there so we need width and height below and above shelf. If anyone knows the dimensions, please let us know...thanks

I think you're missing a digit. Thought High Countries had a 3 digit model while Montana's are 4.

check your exterior tags (by the door)...your model--if it has two "3's" in it, will be either a 330RL or 331RL...though both appear very similar on floor plans.

I don't have your model, but if you look at this video and go to 17 minutes and 22 seconds it shows a shot of the washer-dryer closet.

Now, I have a Splindid stackable washer and dryer in my Montana, and judging by video, there should be room for the washer and dryer to fit through the door. However, I question if the dryer will sit on the upper shelf because of the curvature of the front cap.

I think that closet is designed for the washer-dryer combo (one unit) which will sit on the floor.

Before purchasing, measure everything, height, width, and depth. You also need space behind the washer and dryer for hoses and the air vent, so you need more depth than just the depth of the washer/dryer.

Note: as with all the Montana High Countries, the difference between the 330 and the 331 is, the 330 will have a gas-electric refrigerator. The 331 will have a residential refrigerator with an inverter and 2 batteries. Other than that, they are identical.

I thinķi have the 330 because we have a gas electric fridge. I think you are right about the combo unit! Well start looking for one or just a compact dryer...thanks again

We have a 2018 331RL. Probably not a big difference between them.

The bottom half of the laundry closet is 29" deep and then a 6" wall that the water lines run through.

So above the shelf it doesn't have that wall. It starts out at 35" deep (29+6). Since the cap curves inward, it ends up 25 inches deep at the top of the door.

The door itself is 23 1/2 x 69.

We have an old Splendide combo unit that is 22" deep, so it would work at the bottom or top of the closet. Did a lot of research before getting one and the ones that vent outside seem to work much better. When you think about it, it makes sense...if it's not vented outside you're going to be blowing moist air into your bedroom. The machine is then going to try to use that same air to pull moisture out of your clothes. Not a very efficient design.

Warning: the sticker showing where to put the dryer vent is just slapped on there. Ours was in the middle of a stud!
