Waiting on 298RLS

Hi all. I checked in as a new member back in March when we ordered our new Mountaineer 298RLS 5er. Finally heard back from the dealer yesterday (5+ weeks) that it has been built but will take 5-6 more weeks to be delivered, we live in Oregon. Is this normal for this time of year? Anyone else having this long of a wait? I offered to go and pick it up at the factory but dealer said I was not authorized, anyone know if the factory cares who picks it up? Really anxious to hit the road, just getting tired of cooling our heels.

Mtmy2k, sorry we couldn't work it out to get together. Probably my fault. Maybe we'll be able to get together next time we're in the area or maybe we'll see you on the road somewhere. I hope the new Montana continues to be a good one for you.
