Emergency Medical?

How many fulltimers have the good sam emergency medical? We were wondering if it was worth it.We are not dead yet but neither are we in the best of health. We have the energency road service and the cost is not too much difference. They say they will fly you after being treated locally to you home town and your own doctors and take care of your fiver. Just Wondering? We have a couple prospects on the brick house, but nothing definite yet. Janet.

We have it, and hope to never need it. They will transport your unit, your spouse and your pets.

OHHHH and we are NOT fulltiming, but still feel it is important enough to pay for it.

The Good Sam emergency medical is either 89 or 99 per year, not sure which. It is not a bad policy for the money but is very restrictive as to the circumstances under which they will cover you. It's still not bad for the price. If you are in a situation where air medical transport is needed you will be very happy if you have insurance that covers it as it is very, very expensive.

Wow,
That seems like a pretty cheap insurance plan. I may have to call GS and order some info on this policy. Thanks for the heads up.

Copied from Good Sam web site...

EA+ provides Good Sam members with emergency medical, travel, return home and referral services. Should an emergency occur while you're away from home, just one call , 24 hours a day, will give you benefits that include medical air or ground evacuation, referral to the nearest physician, dentist or attorney, vehicle return, emergency message relay, prescription drug replacement, return home expenses for children or grandchildren, expenses to bring a loved one to your bedside, arrangements for pet return, and help in replacing traveling documents like your passport.

And YES we do have it and we HOPE we never have to use it.
