Norcold 1210 not cooling

I have power to the unit. Checked to make sure the limit switch wasn't tripped. It's fine. Reset power. Nothing cooling. Absolutely no error codes.

Read pulling the thermistor might help. Did that. Checked the ohms on it. 11 when I pulled it out of a sixty degree refrigerator. Responds when cooled off. Higher ohms. I presume it's working. Ordered a spare anyhow.

Put a fan to the opening and tried getting some airflow in there. Getting some marginal improvement in cooling in the freezer. Not much in the fridge.

Likely the next step will be to pull the unit, replace either the fan thermostatic switch or the fans themselves. Either that or I will deliver it to the repair shop and let them rebuild the damn thing. I am so far out in the middle of nowhere and living full time. Pulling to a shop isn't an option for me.

Closest town Socorro NM.

Before I go through all this hassle, just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone has advice or can tell me if I am on the right track. Also, if anyone knows repair folks in the area, I'd appreciate a heads up.

Thanks

Have you tried it on gas? I have heard of the electric heating element going open but not producing error codes.

Thanks for the earlier reply. Was driving and answered with my cell phone. Usually keep it short. I tried using a fan to blow air through there. Initially it was promising. Looked like it might work and narrow it down to something with the fans.

Just isn't getting the job done. The LP is not lighting off either. Unsure about what that means. I suspect I may have some big $$$ repairs coming my way.

Thankfully I have some great neighbors and getting it out the door is possible with a couple of guys. They'll help

Again, thank you for the reply. I appreciate it.
