Need Help Identifying this Montana Wheel
Do you have this wheel on your Montana? If so, do you know the manufacturer of the wheel? I have cracked one and need to know who makes it. We thought it may be Tredit Tire and Wheel in Elkhart but a call and email with a picture and they say no. We tried ordering one through a Montana dealer and were told they were no longer available. We're sorta stuck. Your help will be appreciated.

Virgil, Pacer Wheels makes a wheel identical to yours, and I believe American Racing does too. I will look in the morning and let you know for sure.

wish I had a better picture, but I don't. Here are the ULTRAs installed.
You have to specify the open caps for the bearing buddies, unless your old one is OK.

Thank you for your responses. After more investigation, I discovered that my rims are stamped 60psi on the back and my trailer GVWR is 14,180. Obviously, the rims should be 80psi. I'm pretty sure that is the reason why one of them cracked as I was running 80psi as required by the tires to support 3000 lbs each.
In my case, I am not the original owner so I can not prove these were original equipment but if you have these, you may want to look at the stamped information on the back of the wheel and see if you have the proper rim for your trailer.
Thanks again for your help.

virgil47, I would venture to say the original owner of your 5er decided to change out the factory wheels(probably steel) and had these installed. My 2001 had aluminum wheels and they look exactly like my 2004 does. The giveaway is the little bolts around the edge of the rim, used to see lots of them on show cars when we did that. The factory doesn't always do things we think might be the right way, but they would not put 60psi wheels onto a unit that requires 80psi tires to support the load.

Virgil, both Pacer and American Racing make the wheel you have, however they are only rated for 2200 lbs. max. load. Neither company offers a 6 lug aluminum wheel with a higher load rating. If you want to keep aluminum wheels, you may have to replace your hubs with 8 lug hubs, but then I don't know how the axles are rated. Someone else may be able to give you more information.

Lonnie,
Thanks. I discovered that so I've subsequently ordered 80psi/3100 pound steel rims from Tredit. Appreciate you information.

My rims look exactly like yours but mine are 15 inch. Max pressure 60psi. My VIN sticker calls for 65PSI
So you must have had trailer tires on your unit which max out at 65psi. Truck tires go to 80 psi.

Tom,
When I bought the trailer in June 2005, these rims were on the trailer and had E rated tires mounted on the and 80psi pressure. I have maintained 80psi. I never thought it necessary to take off the wheels and look at the back to see if they were rated for 80 PSI. My bad for buying a used trailer and not looking.
The VIN sticker on the 3555RL says 80psi
