Congrats on your new camper. We have the 375FL, say layout as yours, but no loft over the bed room. We absolutely love having the door on the opposite side. And actually, the back door on the opposite side gets used a lot more than the front door on the normal side. We had our dealership install an awning over the back door (opposite side) and install the same lights as on the front. They did a really great job putting it all together. We get strange looks all the time because of the door on the other side and when the awning is out, we really get the strange looks.
One thing you need to be considerate of when actually pulling into a campsite, is to leave enough room on your site so you can lower the steps on the back side. If you get too close to the edge (drivers side of the trailer), the steps will be off the campsite pad and could actually encroach on the campsite behind you.
We always park ours as far to the passenger side edge of the pad as possible to leave plenty of room for the back door. Once you start using your camper, you'll REALLY understand how great it is having that door.
We love everything about our 375FL. When we purchased, the 376FL and 377FL did not exist yet. When Keystone came out the the 376FL and 377FL, I got very envious.
FYI, if you can possibly wing it .... get a washing machine and dryer installed. You'll not regret it, or the price. It took us 2 1/2 years to finally get the washer and dryer (Splindide) and it's been great! Of course, we are (almost) full time, an occasion week back home and then on the road again, so the washing machine and dryer is now priceless!
Enjoy that new camper! And enjoy those grandkids!

Congratulations CMRider. Once you go to a 5th wheel, you will never go back to a TT. Those grandkids will love it too.
