For those who installed the X-Factor Crossbeams...Question

Weather is finally nice enough to crawl under and install the crossmember. I've noticed that the left attachment site is awfully close to the propane pipe. I'm wondering what others have done. I'm considering wrapping some rubber around the pipe in-case it starts to chafe. Also considering not installing the strap bolt on the one side that is closest to the propane pipe.

I had 3 x-factor cross braces installed on my previous trailer and the front x-brace was almost touching the propane line. i Pulled the trailer for about 2K miles and did not notice any chafing between the propane line and the X-brace. However, I think your idea to wrap it with some type of of rubber would be prudent and just keep an eye on it. I think other members have made some modifications during installation of this front brace also. hopefully, they will see this and chime in.
