Our 3610 floorplan has changed

Looking at the new floor plans it appears our 2015 3610 floor plan has been changed quite a bit without being assigned a new model #.

For starters the pantry and washer dryer closet next to the fridge is gone and replaced by a china cabinet type of thing. The pantry part is moved down next to the television and the washer dryer prep has been removed from next to the fridge to the up front bedroom closet.

The bedroom accessible linen is gone, moved to the bathroom and of course the bedroom dresser configuration is totally different with the change of the bedroom window and a seating/bench is located underneath it.

Not that we would at all want this new configuration we are puzzled as to why they didn't change the model #. Sorry but the new 3610 is not the 3610 model we purchased and we would not switch for the new "improved???" 3610.

It happens. I was surprised to find that the toilet room and the shower had swapped sides between my 2007 3075RL and the 2008 3075RL.

We have noticed production changes over the years. Couple of our friends were not happy when their pre ordered units were not what they expected on delivery.

Yes I have to agree that the changes do not look good but have to see in person...looks very close to a Grand Designs layout we saw recently. Glad we bought when we did....we love our layout.

I noticed this with the 2015 3100RL. We have a 2013 with 2 doors to the bath - one in the hall and one in the bedroom. Worked great this summer as we had our 2 "kids" and 1 little grandson. We kept the door in the bedroom closed and they used the hall door. With this configuration, we would have to enter via the hall door. Wife did not like that change even though it meant a larger shower. The grandson fit nicely into ours for a bath.

WOW. I'm sure glad we bought our 2014 3610 when we did. We love it. I know my wife would not like if she had to give up the pantry. We find the floor plan to be perfect for us, giving us everything we want. Strange that Keystone would change the floor plan on a model less than a year out. We bought ours at the Tampa Fl RV supershow in Jan.

That is so disappointing. We visited the Keystone factory while we were at the rally in Goshen this year and found out while we were there that production of the "old" 3610 model that you/we like was stopped 2-weeks prior to our being there. We had plans of ordering a new unit but when we saw the "new" 3610 on the production line, we didn't like the changes at all so we got on the ball and found one of the "old" models in VA/NC and had it delivered to AR. So glad we did that. We love our new "old" model and are trying it out for the first time the day after tomorrow. I guess the good Lord had favor on us that day!

Kathy and Brian if you still want the older floor plan check around with some of the dealers or contact Keystone and find out what dealers have the former 3610 floor plan in stock. I'll bet they would be happy to sell you the former floor plan if they have one! Hope all is going well for you two and hope to see you at next year's Fall Rally again if not somewhere along the road before it!

Rondo, we did get the "older" 3610RL - thanks to Larry!!!! We're trying it out this weekend, for the first time. Maybe we'll see you at Sevierville in July? We will probably skip next year at Goshen.

I did not think much of my 3735MK when we saw it on Montana's web site but in person me and my wife loved it and bought it, also alot of times the floorplan looks good on the website but not so good in person so you never know,to tell ya the truth Montana was not in my top 3 to buy till I looked at everybody else and was reminded how much you get and how nice they are for the money ,Of course a free Lifetime Warranty from my local dealer made the decision easier

Kathy and Brian,

Glad you got the "old" model. We love ours and glad we were one of the first off the line in 2014 of the 2015 models before the change over.

Enjoy your new rig!

Safe Travels,

Les

well I do not think that is right. I would like to have what I ordered and paid for. I would have ordered because we liked that particular floor plan and if we did not get it and were not informed of the changes I don't think we would accept it.
